TS

You must have TeamSpeak2 (TS2) to raid. A microphone is not necessary, but it is important that you can hear spoken raid instructions. A walkthrough to installing TS2 follows below. Please ask for help in guild chat if you need it.

Downloading and installing

•Download TS2 (Client) here: http://www.teamspeak.com
•After the download finishes, install TS2.
•After installation, run TS2.

Connecting

•In the “Connection” menu, click “Connect”.
•In the window that pops up, click the “Web Server List” tab.
•In the “Server List Filter” window (you may have to click “Change Filter” for it to appear), type “Might & Magic” in the “Show Servers Containing” box. Click OK.
•Double-click on “Might & Magic TS Server” and enter the password that will be given to you in-game.

You should now be logged in as a guest. If it fails to connect, check that you do not have a firewall blocking TS2.

Registration

Please register with the server as detailed below. This will give you a nickname on TS2 so that other players know who you are.

•In the connection menu, click “Disconnect”, and then “Quick Connect”
•Enter the server address and password as given to you in-game.
•Choose and enter a nickname (remember it, you need it later) and the server password. The nickname is what other players will see you logged in as on TS2. Leave the “login name” box empty and click “Connect”.

You should now be connected to TS2 with your chosen name. You might not yet be able to talk.

•Ask in-game for TS2 registration rights.
•When you have been given registration rights, open the “Self” menu and click “Register With Server”.
•Choose a login name and a personal password (remember both, you need them later). The login name can be different from your nickname, or the same if you wish. Click “Register”.

You should now be registered with the server with your chosen details. Just a few more steps to take, and TS2 will remember your details so you can quickly log in each time!

•In the “Connection” menu, click “Connect”.
•In the “Web Server List” tab, select “Might & Magic TS Server” and click “Copy to Local Addressbook”.
•In the “Local Addressbook” tab, enter your nickname, select “Registered”, enter your login name and your personal password. Click “Connect”.

Congratulations, you’re registered with the Might & Magic TS Server! What’s more, TS2 remembers your login details. From now on, to log in you simply open the “Connection” menu, click “Connect” and then click “OK”.
