So how many of you want know about romeo and juliet? Yeah one long story about some bird and bloke…..heres the fully story in a poepm THAT Cos wrote!!!!!!

Star-crossed Lovers.

Chronicles we’ve all seen and heard before,

We know the stories, we perceive the lore.

The great poet who declared he could write,

The truth of what said, is against the right.

Tales of laughter, the past and hell he told,

All are superb, but also in time grow old.

Writings of kings that always seem to fail,

Stories of noble men that want more hail.

A play within a play seen here and there;

All shown and performed before the king’s chair.

Storms a rising on the turbulent seas,

Witches brew magics, for themselves to please.

Madness and death, frequently common themes;

These ideas become the play’s main beams.

Records of romance, where the good guys die,

And now I begin where my main points lie.

My sadness begins in a public place,

Where one can meet and view new face.

The characters to us are not that new,

No questions raised, as to make one ask who?

A simple story with a simple cast,

A fairytale, with love that should have last.

Her name was Juliet, skin fair and so,

Attracting the light of her Romeo.

Tale of love, so dear, cannot be the truth,

Twist in the tale, as you watch from your booth.

Pain in the midst for the romantic two;

The feud ‘tween Capulet and Montague.

Locked now in her room, not allowed to see,

Romeo “to the sun I compare thee”

With help from her nurse she makes her quick flee

She, Romeo weds, with no-one to see.

Now newly wed, they must keep a closed book,

So they leave each other not to get looks.

Again in her room, the princess exclaims,

Seen only by the nurse, hearing the name.

Being loyal the nurse informs the dad.

Juliet is angry and very sad.

So potion she drinks, her love does not know.

Appearing dead, her family love her so.

Romeo hears of the newly numb,

To the church goes he for another potion.

Enters he the crypt where the maiden lay

Not knowing what or how to say.

The love he has for her is strong

There is nothing in the world that could go wrong.

Slowly removing the lid and with a sigh,

“Thy drugs are quick, and with a kiss I die”

Arising the girl looks in dismay

She has no idea how or what to say.

“What’s here? A cup closed in my true loves hand”

Not a drop left, not even dust or sand.

She takes the dagger from her dead beau,

And raises it high above her so.

In so deep, cutting her in the thigh.

In so deep she does solemnly die.

To finish the tale of sorrow and regret

Ill leave you with whom you first met.

“For never was a story of more woe”

“Than this of Juliet and her Romeo”
